Meet Tom Nevers

Tom Nevers is a passionate, trustworthy, goal-driven and team-oriented professional. He has upheld this stellar reputation in his 13 years playing professional baseball, and his 23+ years selling real estate. 

After his athletic retirement Tom became a licensed Real Estate Agent in 2002. Upon joining Compass, Tom's sports background was a perfect fit for the Compass Sports & Entertainment Division, bringing a strong track record of working with numerous NHL and MLB players and managers. Tom specializes in residential real estate sales, primarily in Edina and the Southwest Metro area. 

Tom has experience dealing with people from all walks of life and showing properties in all price ranges. He really enjoys working with clients on one common goal. "While I take my role very seriously, I make sure we have fun together too. I try to make the entire process of buying or selling a smooth and enjoyable one, offering open communication, a thorough market education, and the highest level of personalized service from start to finish. I'm an excellent negotiator as well who strives to always protect my clients' best interest and help them get the best deal possible." 

Born and raised in Edina, Minnesota where he still resides, Tom committed to the University of Minnesota to play men's hockey and baseball back in the day. He enjoyed success in both sports, and ended up signing a MLB contract with the Houston Astros.. Having also played for the Brewers, Twins, Cardinals, Angels and Reds he enjoyed six-month stints living around the country in various places as well as in Vancouver, B.C. 

Married to his wife Stacy of 25+ years, Tom keeps busy with their three teen to college-age sons. The family lives in Edina with their adorable English Cream White Golden,Rudy. In addition to his successful real estate business, Tom also runs a baseball training facility in Edina,,MN called Nevers Larkin Baseball LLC.
